Popularly known as the Slayer guitarist, Jeff Hanneman died of liver failure. He was 49 years of age and had been popular due to the thrash metal band Slayer.
The death comes as a surprise to the fans who would not have expected to hear such news as early as now. In the era of 1981 this rock band guitarist, along with Kerry King, had formed the group named Slayer.
This was done at the time both were there for auditions of another band. After meeting they had decided to make their own band and the move was what changed their lives and fortunes.
The sales by the band were a whopping 30 million albums across the world where the members of the group were always referred to as one of the “big for”.
The other three in the list were the likes of Mettalica, Anthrax and the Megadeth. Jeff is survived by his wife, two brothers and a sister.
