At 7.13 pm last night, William and Kate marched from the hospital and showed their baby son to the waiting world. The couple were beaming in pride when Kate carried her baby outside St. Mary’s hospital in west London. With crowd hooting in joy and cameras flashing on, Kate passed the baby to the proud father William who gently held his son.
The new parents wore dresses in matching blue while they offered a glimpse of their royal baby to the world. The Duchess of Cambridge wore blue maternity dress with white polka dots while William wore a blue open neck shirt with sleeves rolled up and dark jeans. The tiny tot was wrapped in a white shawl and was stretching, yawning and waving his tiny hands.
Kate’s dress reflected the famous green dress that Princess Diana wore when she carried baby Williams after her delivery from the hospital in 1982. Kate also had the sapphire engagement ring that Diana owned.
Prince William then spoke to the assembled throng and said that the baby has a good pair of lungs and that he is a big boy as he is a bit heavy. He also said that they were working on a name and will have it as soon as they can.
