Madonna has to take the price cut on the 15.2 million pounds penthouse in New York. This decision was taken under compulsion, for offloading the pad after over six months on property market.
It was in 2009 when the Material Girl had bought the property at 20.97 million pounds. This Harperley Hall home with six bedrooms is located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The apartment had cost Madonna several millions for repairs. She had completely renovated the building that takes 2 storeys in the cooperative building.
Madonna had made several attempts in order to attract buyers for the apartment during the time when she had listed the apartment in November 2012. However, recent reports say that the price has now been lowered to less than 12.9 million pounds.
It has been reported that the keys for the Harperley Hall home has now been handed over to a new owner much recently. According to reports this new owner, Deepak Narula, the business tycoon, has scored the property at a “considerably less” value than the asking rate.
While the apartment offers views over the eat-in kitchen, a library and the Central Park, the interior decoration has been done by none other than Christopher Ciccone, Madonna’s brother.
