Royal christening day is on! The godparents and relatives of Prince George arrived at St. James Palace on 23rd October, Wednesday.
The 3-month old prince looked adorable in the hands of his proud parents who looked like a picture-perfect couple. The intimate ceremony would be presided by Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The junior prince was dressed in a handmade royal robe for christening which was designed by Queen Elizabeth II’s dressmaker, Angela Kelly.
The guests who arrived at the function were patents of Kate, Michael and Carole, sister Pippa and bother James. Prince Harry, the younger brother of William’s came along with his grand mom, his father, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Philip.
Just before few hours, the Palace informed that about seven people would head the responsibility of being the godparents of George. They are Oliver Baker, Jamie Lowther – Pinkerton, Emilia Jardine – Paterson, William van Cutsem, Julia Samuel, Earl Hugh Grosvenor and Zara Tindall.
The prince would be baptized with water taken from River Jordan in Lily Font. A royal source said that Kate and William prefer to do things in a different way and their families respect it.
