After the twist that took place in the American Idol last week, it was predicted that the top four contestants would come up to the stage and will go through a sort of mulligan for the missteps in the last week.
This surely indicated a rehashing of the events in the last week, while also indicating that the two contestants at the bottom, Amber Holcomb and Candice Glover, were actually safe for the next week. And it certainly was relieving for Candice.
The dramatic turn of events came about when Amber performed with full vigor. Whether Amber can gather the votes still remains dicey because the voters, at this stage, would be all set to hit likes and votes for their favorites. However, with the performance Amber has managed to grab good attention and the vote count can even find her through to the next stage.
Amber Holcomb, as she took up the theme of the “Standards” as she sung “My Funny Valentine”, she underwent a good change of personality. She felt the lyrics and her voice came from within. She has emoted completely in her song and by this has left Nicki Minaj in an almost fearing position.
Amber’s fear is not completely erased as both she and Nicki Minaj can remain zone of risk on Thursday night.
